Habitat for Humanity’s Carter Work Project coming to Parry Sound

Habitat for Humanity’s project in Parry Sound is being named to the Carter Work Project.
Former US President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn Carter are in Canada for Habitat for Humanity’s 34th Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
The goal is to build 150 homes for Canada’s 150th anniversary of confederation.
Two local families in Parry Sound alongside Habitat volunteers will build their own home. The site of the home will be the build project on 24 Addie Street.
Habitat for Humanity is raising money for this project with a yard sale on Canada Day at Dunn’s Storage.
