Paramedics warn public to stay hydrated with warmer temperatures on the way

It’s important to remember to drink water while in the summer heat.
This tip is from paramedic Stuart McKinnon who says hydration is key to stay healthy and prevent from heatstroke. McKinnon says signs that someone might be suffering from heat stroke include headaches, dizziness and fainting.
McKinnon suggests if you have breathing problems, you should take it easy in the warm summer air.
He says sunscreen is important as well so you don’t get badly burned when you fall asleep on the beach or your cottage dock.
