Norm Miller taking on larger role in PC party

Norm Miller is taking on a larger role with the Ontario Progressive Conservatives. The leader of the PC’s, Patrick Brown, has named the Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP as the newest Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry critic. Miller says that means he’ll be keeping an eye on the MNRF, and holding it accountable.

Miller says in recent years, it doesn’t look like that’s happening and it seems like the money is being used for things other than fishing and hunting. So, he says he has the petition out to get the Auditor General to take and look and see where the money is going.
Overall, Miller says he is honoured to be the newest MNRF critic.

And, he says all of those are the responsibility of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Miller will also continue to serve as the Northern Development and Mines critic.
