Parry Sound High School students are back from their Vimy 100 trip.
It’s a trip taken every year by Parry Sound High School students, but this year was made special by the fact it was the 100th anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge.
Last night, parents, sponsors and families of Parry Sound veterans gathered in the auditorium of Parry Sound High School to celebrate the completion of this year’s Trip.
Students described the trip as life-changing, amazing, and sometimes very sobering.
They also took the time to thank sponsors and honour the families of veterans from Parry Sound.
