Power outages hit Parry Sound

Widespread power outages are hitting Parry Sound and the surrounding area.
As of noon, Hydro One is reporting that 2794 people in Parry Sound are without power.
4196 people in Bracebridge and 3167 in Huntsville are also affected.
High winds reaching 85 km/h and wet snow have combined to cause tree damage and downed hydro poles.
There are over 60 000 people without power on Hydro One’s distribution system.
There is no set estimated time for restoration.
