MNRF warns public about higher water levels

High water levels are of dangerous concern for boaters and anyone going near the water in our region.
This is from the Parry Sound District of the Ministry of Natural Resource and Forestry.
Officials say with another around of heavy rainfall expected on Friday, these higher than normal flows will continue to be a danger.
You should stay away from river banks, which can be slippery and unstable and don’t risk going out on the water.
There is no concern for flooding at this point, but another update will be released on Monday with more details as we move into April.
