Parry Sound blood drive falls short of target

Parry Sound’s Blood drive came up short on Friday.

Canadian Blood Services was looking for 120 units of blood from their drive in Parry Sound.

They ended up 21 units short of their goal

Elaine St-Pierre from CBS says the bad weather had something to do with the poor turnout

There is still time to donate if you missed Friday. There is one blood drive in Gravenhurst today.

St. Pierre says she hopes that along with returners, that new faces will show up at today’s drive.

The next blood drive in Parry Sound is set to take place in June.
