Police charge two men with alcohol related offences and possession of unmarked cigarettes

A routine traffic stop has turned into a number of charges.

West Parry Sound OPP pulled over a car on the 400 earlier this month.

Inside the car they found open containers as well as unmarked cigarettes.

Two Oshawa men, 40 and 41 years old, have been charged with impaired driving and liquor related offenses.

They have also been charged with possession of unmarked cigarettes.

Police are reminding the public that the purchase of unmarked cigarettes is illegal without the proper permit to purchase and sell.
