The Downtown Business Association put nine names forward to council for permission to buske in downtown Parry Sound during the summer.
Nine buskers is a sharp increase from the one person who applied last year and allegedly never followed through with any busking.
The DBA will set up a schedule for the new buskers to follow this summer.
