Down 4-2 going into the third, the Parry Sound Islanders showed their true grit battling back and taking a 6-5 overtime win tonight in game three of the GMHL Northern Division Final against the New Tecumseth Civics. The Islanders can wrap up the series at home at the arena in Humphrey Sunday afternoon at 2. A large contingent of fans for game four would be extra encouragement for a team that finished the regular season in second place in the North and third overall.
