Maurizio of Maurizio’s pizzeria is home in Parry Sound after a big showing at the International Pizza Championship.
The Parry Sound local won a gold, silver and bronze medal at the competition in Bucharest Romania.
His gold medal winning pizza was a “Canadian Breakfast” pizza that had cheddar, back bacon and maple syrup.
His silver medal pizza was a vegan pizza and the bronze medal was a classic Canadian pepperoni pizza.
