Council approves community tower gardens

Community Tower Gardens are on their way to Parry Sound.
Last night town council opted to fully support the initiative spearheaded by the Harvest Share Food Bank.
Harvest Share came to council on February 21st to propose a new way to get food to the food bank.
These tower gardens will be looked after by businesses and organizations in Parry Sound. Their harvest will be sent to the food bank.
The tower gardens are six feet tall and three and a half wide and are meant for indoor year-round growth.
