Great Big Crunch kicks off Nutrition month

Nutrition Month is coming to schools in Parry Sound in a big way.
Over 10 000 students from the Near North District Schoolboard and beyond will take a synchronized bite of an apple at the same time.
The Great Big Crunch event is in its tenth year.
It’s being put together by the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.
Jules Phorson from the NBPSDHU says she hopes the event will encourage healthy eating practices in students.
She also says this is the biggest Great Big Crunch done so far.
