Parry Sound looking at changing site plan control bylaw

Parry Sound is taking steps to streamline the site planning process.
The site plan control bylaw is a way of ensuring the land meets specific standards and does not violate any bylaws in Parry Sound
Right now anything involving site preparation has to go through town council.
An amendment to the by law would see that the approval practice would just rely on the town planner, Taylor Elgie.
A proposal has been drafted with this change – and should be in front of council on the 21st of March.
