The hometown Parry Sound Islanders kick off their best of five preliminary round series with the Bradford Bulls Saturday night at the BOCC. The Islanders finished the season with an incredible 34, 7 and 1 record, the Bulls were 19, 20 and 3. The Bulls however took both games played between the two in the regular season.
In other GMHL news The 2016-2017 GMHL Season has come to an end for the Seguin Huskies as they dropped a 6-5 decision against the West Nipissing Lynx on Thursday. The Lynx advance to take on Meaford. The Almaguin Spartans kick off their series against South Muskoka tonight in Gravenhurst, back home for game two Saturday.
