We had a home game on Friday night, -at PSHS and want to thank everyone who came to cheer on the team. We had a very intense, fast game of ball where the girls played very well however lost the game 34-43 for Orillia. Top scorers were Kamryn Elkin with 7, Wryin Staszkiel with 6 and Kiara Henry with 5 points.
The girls travelled to Aurora on Saturday for a tournament. First game was against Peterborough for a very close game- with the Stingers loosing 32-27. Top scorers of that game were Kamryn Elkin with 8 points, Katilyn Kane with 5 and Olivia Ball with 4 points.
The second game was against North York where the Stingers came ahead quickly in the game and maintained their lead to a win of 29-48. Top scorers were Justine Kalbe with 10 points, Emma Sypulski with 10 points and Olivia Ball with 9 points.
Next tournament is February 17-19 in Newmarket.
