CUPE asks public to support locked out CAS workers

Locked out Children’s Aid workers are calling on the community for support.
CAS workers in Nipissing and Parry Sound have been locked out of work since December 23rd.
They were locked out over contract disputes centered on the workload for individual support workers.
Talks resumed briefly between Children’s Aid and its workers, but both sides failed to reach an agreement.
Now CAS workers are asking the public to sign a letter of support for them.
The full letter is available on the CUPE website.
