A 22-year-old man is in custody in connection with the fatal collision on Highway 124.
The accident took place on Monday evening around 7:30pm.
56-year-old David Robb from Ahmic Harbour died in the head on collision.
The accused is Thomas Hennig, and he is being charged with Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
