The annual “Mayor’s Levee” was held Sunday and as part of his remarks on what made 2016 and the community a success, Mayor Jamie McGarvey mentioned the countless hours and efforts of volunteers in the community. So when it came time to honour a citizen with the “Order of Parry Sound” the choice of Dennis Miner seemed a natural.
