A local committee is inviting residents to celebrate in the kick off of a very special project in Parry Sound.
On Wednesday, the Parry Sound Victory School Commemorative Committee is holding the launch party for the Commemorative Project.
Almost two years in the making, the project features a book and a four DVD set that revolve around the history of the Victory School.
The school was closed in 2015 and students were moved to the new Parry Sound Public School.
The event starts at 4:00pm at the West Parry Sound District Museum.
