A local bowling alley is joining up with centres across Canada for KNOCKDOWN CANCER.
Starting in January Georgian Lanes Entertainment will be donating 50 cents from every shoe rental towards two local causes in the community.
The centre will also be holding a fundraising tournament on January 28th and will have bowlers raise pledges to play.
Local businesses are encouraged to get involved as well by sponsoring a lane for the month.
This is the 5th annual run of the KNOCKDOWN CANCER event, which has raised over $500,000 for cancer research and support.
