Moose FM Radiothon raises over $29,000 for local families

The Salvation Army will be able to help a lot of families in Parry Sound this year with some help from Moose FM listeners.
As part of the annual Kids Christmas Wish Radiothon the station’s listeners raised just over $29,000 for the organization.
This radiothon ran over two days in partnership with the Salvation Army.
The money will go towards helping families in the Parry Sound region have a special Christmas as well help with the many programs offered by the Salvation Army.
This radiothon is part of a larger initiative by parent company Vista Radio, which has been trying to raise $1 million across the country.
Vista announced on Friday afternoon it had crested that million dollar mark.
