The cost of Hydro is continuing to be a problem for Queen’s Park. This is something Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller has said is a major issue for Muskoka, and now the NDP is calling for a moratorium on Hydro disconnects. Energy Critic Peter Tabuns says families across the province are unable to pay both their Hydro and their grocery bill.
However, Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault says the Liberals have a bill in front of the house that will ensure no Hydro disconnections during the winter months.
