The Town of Parry Sound is considering a major change to the way dogs are registered in the community.
During the next council meeting on December 20th, members will discuss the suggestion to change the current annual dog license to a on-time fee lifetime license.
This new license would cost $50 and would last the entire life of the dog.
Anyone who currently has a dog registered with the town would only be charged $30 for the lifetime license.
