The company that wants to install solar panels on private land in McKellar Township has a public meeting this week to talk about the project. Compass Energy Consulting wants to pay landowners to lease their land for 20 years so they can pursue their energy projects. In total, Compass is looking at installing the panels at 11 sites. The information meeting is this Thursday in the McKellar council chambers at 6:30pm. Anyone who can’t make the meeting, can voice their opinion by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
