Parry Sound home sales remain very strong in September.
Residential property sales recorded through the MLS System of the Parry Sound & Area Association of Realtors numbered 68 units last month, down 4.2 per cent from September last year.
President of the Parry Sound & Area Association of Realtors Dan Payerl says September sales were very strong, missing the record for the month set last year by just three transactions.
The average price of all residential properties sold this past September was about $327,000, an increase of around 23 per cent from the same month last year. Â The average price for recreational properties rose almost two per cent on a year-over- year basis to $343,000 in September.
