The theft from an office at Georgian Bay National Park has been solved

Police have arrested and charged a woman for breaking into a National Park office.

Earlier this year, Southern Georgian Bay OPP was called to Georgian Bay National Park on Beausoleil Island after property was stolen from the office.  An investigation revealed the thief was a 28-year-old woman from Georgian Bay Township.

She has been charged with four counts of theft under $5,000, breach of trust, and possession of property obtained by crime.  She’ll face those charges in a Midland court in November.
