Police in Almaguin Highlands have caught numerous people breaking court orders

Several arrests have been made in Almaguin Highlands lately for breaching court orders.

Between September 15th and 18th, police have arrested people from North Bay to St. Catherines including local people for not obeying court orders and not showing up for court appearances.

Officers arrested and charged a young offender who was wanted for failing to appear for court, a 28-year-old from North Bay for failing to appear for court, and a 45-year-old from St. Catherines for failing to appear in court on matters dating back to 2008.

They also arrested and charged an 18-year-old from Parry Sound for breaching a court order, a 44-year-old from Ryerson Township for breaching her conditional sentence, and a 36-year-old from Magnetawan for not obeying a court order.  He was also charged with flight from police, driving while disqualified, and drug possession.
