No change to the Fire Danger Rating this week in West Parry Sound. District Fire Coordinator Chief Brian Leduc assessed the region this morning and says the rating will remain at Moderate for this week. Daytime open air burning is allowed with an approved permit from your local municipal fire department and campfires for cooking, warmth and recreation are also allowed. Residential and commercial fireworks are allowed based on the regulations of each municipality. The region will be evaluated again on Thursday for the weekend.
