An Etobicoke man faces an impaired driving charge after speeding through West Parry Sound. Just before midnight on August 6th, West Parry Sound OPP was conducting radar on Highway 400 in McDougall Township when they caught a northbound vehicle speeding. After pulling over the vehicle and speaking with the driver, the officer determined the 47-year-old man had been drinking. The man is charged with having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood and was given a ticket for speeding. His licence has been suspended for 90 days , his vehicle impounded for a week, and he’ll face his charge in a Parry Sound court next month.
