Our MP is calling out the Liberal government for abandoning small business

The Liberal government is being called out after Canada saw the largest full-time job losses in five years.  Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement is calling out the government for its inability to stimulate the economy and support small businesses.  Clement says the massive loss of full-time jobs last month shows the Liberals are abandoning our job creators in favour of their big ticket, free-wheeling spending.  He was particularly concerned that Statistics Canada reported there were 28,000 fewer jobs for young people between the ages of 15 and 24 last month.

Clement says Liberal Minister for Tourism and Small Business, Bardish Chagger told Canadians and small business owners that the Liberals would keep their promise to lower taxes, but that promise was broken.  He says adding insult to injury, the Liberal budget also cancelled the Small Business Hiring Tax Credit, a credit that helped small businesses expand and create jobs.
