Water levels on the Seguin River will be lowered for the next couple of weeks

Seguin River levels are being lowered to accommodate the William Street reconstruction project.  The Town of Parry Sound has asked Bracebridge Generation to lower the water level between Mill Lake and the Cascade Street Dam to enable the reconstruction of William Street near Yvonne Williams Park.  Work in that area requiring the lower water level is expected to be completed by August 26th and until then, resident can expect to see water levels fluctuate up to two feet lower than normal summer levels.  That level is still within the range permitted by the Seguin River Water Management Plan.
