The Fire Danger Rating in West Parry Sound will remain at High for the weekend. District Fire Coordinator Chief Brian Leduc says even though sporadic rain has helped with the fire hazard, the Fire Danger Rating will remain at High. All burn permits are suspended and only campfires for cooking, warmth, and recreation are allowed. The fire hazard will be reviewed on Monday. Check with your local municipal fire department for any questions or updates over the weekend.
