Parry Sound’s barrier-free beach is officially open

Waubuno Beach in Parry Sound is now officially barrier-free.  On July 7^th, the Town of Parry Sound held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the beach after the renovations of the bathroom and the installation of the MobiMat were complete.  The MobiMat provides access to the beach for those with disabilities and will be in place seasonally until Friday September 2^nd.
The washrooms were opened on July 1^st with new push button entry doors, new partitions and toilets, and vanity and sink replacements.  They will be open daily from 8:00am until 10:00pm until September 2nd.
