Police have charged a youth in connection to an early morning theft. Almaguin Highlands OPP was called to an area in Burk’s Falls where items were stolen from cars yesterday morning. The youth, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with two counts of theft and possession of stolen property. He was released and will appear in court next month. Police are reminding everyone to not leave valuables unattended in vehicles and to lock up vehicles at all times.
