The local author of four Haunted Ontario books has passed away. Terry Boyle, a generous, dedicated and passionate entrepreneur, journalist, author, teacher and historian, passed away suddenly on Monday. Boyle, who lived near Burk’s Falls, shared his passion for history and folklore in many books since 1976, including four Haunted Ontario titles. He hosted haunted tours of the Parry Sound in the fall and also hosted television’s Creepy Canada and radio’s Discover Ontario. He was 63. His funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon in the Logan Memorial Chapel in Parry Sound.
