A single vehicle collision in Seguin has resulted in impaired driving charges

A Seguin man faces impaired driving charges after a single vehicle collision.  Early Wednesday morning, West Parry Sound OPP was called to a single vehicle collision on Sunny Point Road in Seguin where a vehicle lost control, slid off the road, and skidded down a hill into a tree.  The 81-year-old driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  After an investigation, police charged the man with Driving While Ability Impaired and Care and Control over 80 milligrams.  His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, vehicle impounded for seven days, and he’ll face his charges in a Parry Sound court next month.
