Seguin has drafted a by-law to prohibit the use of recreational trailers year-round. The by-law would allow the use of trailers at parks within the township from April 15th until November 1st. The concerns with having the trailers year-round are for safety as they are not built to withstand winter conditions and to prevent people using them for permanent residences. A draft by-law is being sent to all park operators in the township for their comments and a final decision on the by-law will come back to council in the fall.
