Second degree murder charges after man dies in Walmart parking lot in Midland

A London man is facing second degree murder charges after an incident in a Walmart parking lot in Midland.  On Saturday afternoon, Midland Police Service arrived at the parking lot after receiving calls of a man being hit by a vehicle.  Emergency crews were on scene as well and treated 29-year-old Corby Stott of Wyevale.  He was taken to Georgian Bay Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Twenty-five-year-old Jason Heffernen was charged with second degree murder and will make a first appearance in Barrie on July 6th.  Police are still looking for any witness video or photography from the incident.
