A local wakeboarder has set an unofficial world record for wakeboarding. Last Friday at What Wake Park in Bala, Seguin resident Mickey Henry continuously wake boarded for 10 hours, beating the old record of six hours and 42 minutes. Henry says the whole idea started as a joke.
The event was also set up as a fundraiser for Rotary Club and he says that’s why he went so long passed the original record.
He thanks everyone who was a part of the event and is now waiting to receive official confirmation of the record.
