The Downtown Business Association is once again hosting a painted paddle silent auction. On June 17th, 39 hand-painted paddles were set up in various businesses in the downtown and surrounding area. This year, five paddles have been designated as online auction items with a QR code to take you directly to a Facebook page that has been set up for the bidding. Tear off maps have been printed showing the location of all the paddles and a colour brochure with pictures of all the paddles and their locations is still in the works. All of the paddles will be bought out onto the street during the Georgian Bay Craft Fair on August 6th.
