The Town of Parry Sound has accepted the terms of reference for a Business Welcome Team. At their meeting on Tuesday night, council approved the Business Welcome Team in response to a resolution adopted by council in April to develop Terms of Reference for a ‘Meet and Greet’ Ambassador Team. Councillor Keith Saulnier says this team is a key component to the Business Stimulus Plan.
Saulnier says this is another way to build momentum for the future of Parry Sound.
The team will be made up of Councillor Saulnier, Mayor Jaime McGarvey, CAO Rob Mens, Director of Leisure Services Lynn Middaugh, and three members of the business community that will be brought to council for approval at their next regular meeting.
