An update to property values in Ontario is coming next month. This year, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation is updating the assessed values of every property across the province with a legislated valuation date of January 1, 2016. Residents in the Parry Sound district can expect to receive their updated property assessment notice by July 11th while business properties and farms will be mailed in the fall. These values will be used by all municipalities in the district to calculate property taxes for the 2017-2020 property tax years.
