Carling is holding back their decision on the Killbear Park boundary proposal

Support for the Killbear boundary proposal from Carling Township is being postponed.  Council deferred their decision at last night’s meeting until they can get more information and have discussions with the park superintendent.  Councillor Susan Murphy would like an update on visitor stats, as the last numbers in the park’s management plan were from 18 years ago.  She would also like to ask the park for additional lands around the landfill for future expansion of the site.  Council will ask the park superintendent to attend the next Committee of the Whole meeting to answer questions of council.
