Police are looking for a missing canoeist on Georgian Bay. West Parry Sound OPP responded to a report of boat equipment floating on Georgian Bay north of Pointe au Baril yesterday. An investigation has found that a 58-year-old man and experienced canoer, has been camping on Georgian Bay for the last month which he does every year. The last time his family heard from him was June 3rd. The West Parry Sound OPP Marine Unit, OPP Helicopter and OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit continue to search for the man.
