An off-duty police officer has been charged with impaired driving. Saturday night around 10:00pm, Huntsville OPP was called to a single vehicle collision into a rock cut on Highway 141 in Utterson. Police found that the 44-year-old driver was an off-duty OPP officer with the Almaguin Highlands detachment. The 18-year member of the OPP was uninjured in the crash. He is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Refusing to Provide a Sample and will face those charges in a Huntsville court next month.
