The cloudy weather on Saturday couldn’t stop the 15th annual Dragon Boat Festival. Nineteen teams came to Waubuno Beach to compete in the event to raise money for the Rotary Club and various other community groups. After the first round of races, the course had to be shortened because of high winds and water levels. In the finals, last year’s Grand Champion and Local Champion Rotary Eat Trout lost to SCC Phoenix by just four tenths of a second.
