Local Tim Horton’s locations raise over $12,000 during Camp Day

The Parry Sound area has helped disadvantaged kids get to camp this summer.  During yesterday’s Tim Horton’s Camp Day, all three local locations together raised $12,396.60 through coffee sales, bracelet sales, and other donations.  On average, the sale of 60 medium Tim Horton’s coffees generates enough funds to send one child to camp for a day.  Funds raised help Tim Horton’s Restaurant Owners sponsor kids in their community as they work closely with local youth organizations and schools to identify kids who would benefit most from the experience.  Children sponsored in the Parry Sound area attend one of the other six camps outside of the Lorimer Lake camp.
