Local Tim Hortons are hosting their annual Camp Day fundraiser today. At all three locations in the Parry Sound area, 100 percent of coffee sales are going toward the Tim Hortons Children Foundation to help send 19,000 disadvantaged kids to camp this summer. This year is the 25th anniversary of Camp Day which has raised over $150 million to date and sent more than 237,000 kids to camp. There are seven Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation camps across North America including the very first one on Lorimer Lake right here in the Parry Sound area. All three local Tim Hortons locations will have special events and other ways to donate.
