Parry Sound’s newest residents have officially been welcomed home. Honey bees arrived in town last week and the Parry Sound and Area Community Apiary was officially opened on Saturday, with participants in Canadore’s Introductory Beekeeping Course. The apiary is a community educational resource for Canadore, primary/secondary schools, and local organizations. Special thanks go to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Crofter’s Organic, and Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve for providing the funding.
